You really need to read/research before asking questions on a forum.

The answer to your question is:  many urban Saudis speak English.

I thought this forum was for questions?

Egyptian dialect is the one that most Arab speakers understand easiest, if you have the option to choose that instead.

Well I know like 20 people from Saudi Arabia and they say they understand each dialect except the Arabic they speak in Algeria, Tunesia and Morocco.

Allow me to point you in the right direction

The GUIDE (link in rectangular box to the left) has a lot of useful general information (this link, for instance:  https://www.expat.com/en/guide/middle-e … ities.html ).

Also, you can use the 'Google Custom Search' box (upper right hand corner) to search threads in this forum (be sure to add 'Saudi Arabia' or 'Riyadh' or whatever to your key words).

Also, there are a couple stickies at the top of the home screen that cover a lot of basic information, too ("Do and Don't in Saudi Arabia" and "What is Your Idea of Saudi Arabia").

In Saudi schools, English is taught as a second language from 5th grade up to high school graduation. So basically, most of them should understand basic English. The ones who speak good English are international and private students or public school students with the aid of additional English courses (Just like me).

The previous reply was regarding teens and young adults of Saudi Arabia. However, the majority of senior citizens don't speak English. And Regarding adults, I'd say half and half.

I heard it's hard to find an English speaker in Al Kharj, 90 klicks SE of Riyadh.

Moroccan dialect is the best
so go to morocco and enjoy the nice weather
why ru coming to Saudi to learn Lebanon dialect? last time I checked, there is a country called Lebanon, and we call it so for a reason
