Driving to Belize from Florida

I plan to drive down to Belize from Florida at the end of September and stay on Ambergris Caye, hopefully for at least 3 months. I will coming down with my dog and leaving my car somewhere on the mainland. If anyone is interested in joining me drop me a line and we'll talk. I'm an avid diver and will be looking at property while there as well. I'm in no hurry when traveling so you must be laid back and an easy traveller...Marcie

I am retiring from the Veterans Admin. at the end of August and plan on going to Belize end of September or early Oct. I never been there, but have many conversations from expats and online research. I am way laid back with nothing but time and a willingness to venture into new experience, hope we can make the trip together. I am currently living in Tennessee.
