Dangerous off and on ramps for the hydrofoils

Post new topic

Has anyone complained about the dangerous on and off ramps for the hydrofoils? Someone is going to get hurt or killed. Who to complain to, the tourist authorities or the marine police?

It seems that the owners and staff don’t care or there is nothing they can do as I’m sure there have been hundreds of complaints.

Can we chip in and buy or make a ramp with handrails?

It's all part of the adventure.

Hi John
I wouldn't be too worried about the boarding ramps - Id be making sure I sit by the door as the ferries are getting past their prime and one will fall apart soon.
Then and only then will they allow another company to put on faster, cleaner, smoother, quieter, less polluting and safer ferries that would probably run 24/7 and accommodate your bike as well as passengers.

Every ferry trip i make I remember training from work. I note where my allocated seat is, I familiarise myself with escape routes, primarys and alternatives. Look for any safety equipment and familiarise myself with who is around me as well. Can't believe there hasnt been a bigger accident with these ferries in the past.
