Finally making it into Jeddah

Post new topic

stressedmom

Finally after multiple delays including EID my girls and I will be arriving in Jeddah on September 3rd. Only a little over a month behind the original plans.

Now I need to find a school for my 4 year old. I have previously been told that if my child holds a US passport that I will have no issue getting her into the American school, but per their admissions person today I was told there were no seats. Anyone know a great school for a 4 year old girl that still has openings? I prefer American, British, or Australian school styles as she only speaks English and as a former teacher myself I am familiar with these teaching philosophies.

Thanks!!!

Hi!

I am glad everything is starting to come together for your move. I am the least helpful person right now for schooling issues, but I wanted to tell you that I hope it comes together for you.  We arrived a few days ago and I was thinking to pm you some tips. I didn't want to derail your thread.

myyams - Thanks for the advice. My hubby already has a car lined up. His Iquama was done just before EID.

Also have reached out to our location company to try and get help with schools that way so hopefully I can get some answers soon. Definitely want to check schools out besides the websites as I think the "feel" of a school plays a big role into how a student learns.
