Hi All,

Don't forget that on midnight 1st September (Saturday evening/Sunday morning) all Mauritian mobile phone numbers will move from 7 digits to 8 digits as part of a Government initiative to increase to pool of numbers available.

A "5" needs to be placed in front of the number to successfully SMS or call a number after this date.

Here are some important links and FAQs attached for everyone's assistance.

There are apps out there that can convert your address book in your phones across various platforms (BB, Windows, IOS, Android). Entry level phones will be difficult to convert, but if you have any queries just ask.
