Hi Dianneg48,

Hope you are feeling better. Sorry but only saw yr message now.  In Bugibba go towards the square.  There are like two or three pubs on the left hand side (giving your back to the sea), one of which with some entertainment and karaoke. On the left there is a street full of restaurants.  If u go up the street in the middle you have the games room on the left and more restaurants on the right.
There is a pub in the first side street on the right hand side (Heritage)and one just behind it on first left which is known as a sports bar (Rookies)and shows nearly all football matches on big screens.  It also has some live entertainment - like Maltese bands, but on specific days...you just need to go and check.
Back to the main road just as you pass by the games-room and all the Turkish food places, there is a hotel in the corner and if you look on your left hand side you see another pub - it's an Irish pub (O'Reilly's) owned and run by a Maltese.  They say have the best Guinness on draft but i can vouch for the cocktails.  He too has live entertainment (but again need to ask what in which days)
If you are fed up in the square, walk along the front from the quay of St. Paul's Bay to Qawra - it really is not a long walk, and you might like some of the entertainment there. Also have a look at the other hotels...u can always go and spend the evening there if you like the entertainment.
Hope it helped you a bit.
Good luck :)
