Lills

Hi there, I've been offered a position on Doha and would like to know what I can expect to pay for school (Gr3 and 5 girls aged 9 and 12) as well as to rent a 2 bed apartment. As shifts will be 9 hours some days do they have aftercare at the schools or would I have to look for an au-pair or something along those lines. I'll be paid in US$ but am not sure what things cost in QAR. Any info would be most appreciated.

Regards,
Lee-Ann

hello Lills,

about the school i hope some one ales could give u some info about it i have non, but about the apartment i would briefer to take accommodation from the company if it's possible as it's the most expensive thing in Doha plus it's better to be in compound to be sure to have the full-service all the time "maintenance, security, etc." here you may find some real offers for 2 bedrooms apartments to see how is the rent range.

and don’t forget to think about car as well … taxis life here is real hard...

rest of stuff "daily things" really not expensive

don't hesitate to ask any thing else
best regards,
Wael.
