Regarding extending the Tourist Visa

Hey guys,
im arriving to jakarta on 15th of Sep. as per my passport i can do VOA (visa over airport) for 30 days
what i would love to know is how long is the max i can extend that visa for?
and if i found a job can i change it to a business or stay visa

VOA means visa on arrival...not visa over airport.

Your 30 day VOA can be extended once for an additional 30 days.

A VOA is not convertible to any other visa type.

You cannot work at a job with a business visa, rather, for that you need a KITAS residency visa and a work permit both of which are normally handled by your employer.

You can extend your visa by applying for the extension at any immigration office (kantor imigrassi). I believe there are two such offices in Jakarta and you can Google for their locations.
