Hi Everyone,

My family and I am moving to Mauritius at the end of May.
I've accepted a job at a company in Port Louis.

We are still looking for a place to stay.
After a lot of googeling we are considering Flic en Flac but don't know Mauritius at all so any advise will be appreciated.

Regards

Dear Le Roux

The best way would be to stay in a hotel or a temporary accommodation for at least one week, and then go on the search when in Mauritius.

Many members of the forum would surely extend a helping hand in your search.

Cheers;)

Hi Le Roux,
Can't help you much as we have only been there on holiday. Why don't you stay in a furnish holiday place just outside of Port Lious for a bit until you find your feet. Good luck with the move.
PS I really loved it there.

Hi,

you should definitely rent a short term accommodation and travel the island on week ends in order to determine which part of the island you will prefer ;)
