Here in Canada, trucks drivers are very wanted and they earn really good salaries if they work hard...
Who is interested by such a job?

Hi, I would like to have more info on the job.. Will truck driving license be valid in montreal? salary? trips?
Thanks...

You will have to pass your truck driver licence (called class1 in Quebec), there are many good driving schools which offers this program. The salaries are 50000-70000 a year, the best trips are Canada-USA :)
However, drivers who want to pass their class1, must have 3 years of canadian car driving experience. But the car driving experience of the following countries is accepted:

Germany
Austria
Belgium
France
Great Britain: England, Wales, Scotland
Japan
Netherlands: Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles (St. Maarten, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, St. Eustatius and Sabat)
Republic of Korea (South Korea)
Switzerland
Taiwan
Turkey

So a person who have a car driver license from one of these countries can immediately pass the class 1 and drive a truck.

Thanks Benoit...

I'm not eligible then... :(

I have no heavy vehicle driving experience...

I know someone...how do they go about it, especially if they are outside the country.

Benoit-Canada,
Please do not use the forum's topics for such announcements!
Go to Jobs section in Canada's Classifieds and insert a free ad.
Thanks
