This is a peaceful place to stay:

As the peaceful places are pretty remote in terms of accessibility, you would need a car and a map.

KL is a sprawling city and there are few quiet places. The best is to go to Taman Tasik Perdana and the Lake Gardens area.  There is a sculpture park close by.  The whole area is on a hill with different places to visit.  It is always a quiet oasis.

Dear

Thank your information as I am accompanied by my wife, so I am trying to find as many information as possible.

Trip Adviser is good but recommended hotels are more expensive listed by them then other websites.

I wonder renting car and driving would not be any problem?
Is there Guided Tour of city of KL?
Can we find hotels in Taman Tasik Perdana or we have to return.
I wish we could stay somewhere away from hustle and bustle and enjoy natural beauty offered by this country.
I guess it is better to make advance reservation for at least two nights for KL and then take it from there.
Please send me more info if possible and your valuable recommendation, we would be travelling in Jan Feb 2014 as it rains less.
Thanks again.

Do you have to be in KL?  If not I would recommend you visit Penang Island for your holiday? If you want to PM me with hotel budget, I can suggest a solution. I would also need to know what you like to see and do when on holiday.  There are some tours of KL, but it is a city, so it is mainly buildings and historic significance.... There is one to Kuala Selangor to see the fireflies and another to an elephant santuary.  They are quite expensive as they are 2 hours from KL.

In KL, how I find good night life?

There are no hotels in Taman Tasik Perdana - it is an oasis in the KL metropolis.

Some of the quieter Hill Stations are popular - Frasers Hill or Maxwell Hill in Taiping.

Taman Negara is a beautiful natural rainforest area.

There are interesting Felda lodges to stay at near the plantations and rainforest. Check these out:
