Request for information about Cost of living

Hi,
I am going to stay in Brno for a long period of time (at least 3-4 yr ). I have no idea about the life in Czech Republic. Would you please enlighten me about the living cost and other basic information that I need to stay there?

Hi Maximilien,

Thank you for your reply. I want to know the minimum expenditure of food, house rent, transport, internet, electricity etc in Brno. Whether the house are available with necessary goods (bed,room heater, oven, utensils) or I have to purchase separately? Do people understand English in work place?

Hi Amitava,
I am staying in Brno since August, so can provide you with basic info:
- renting flat, the cheapest I saw was 8000CZK for 1 bedroom flat all equipped
- foods and drinks about 5000CZK
- transportation up to 1000CZK
- internet and mobile up to 600CZK
- clubbing and night life.... it depends, but takes most of my budget!
