Hi, i will be going to Norway soon for a new job and I am trying to find some information about ways to get to learn Norway a bit better. I hope this is the correct place for this post..

I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers about channels that provide the news. I am looking for some divers channels to broaden my knowledge. Could you guys tell me what the Norwegian sources are? Like for instance, a Norwegian newspaper a bit similar to the NY Times or USA Today is....

I am trying to soak up as much info as possible to get a head start :) Could anyone fill in this list for me?

There are also a lot of local and weekly newspapers.

Serious news program: Dagsrevyen (general news programme), Aktuelt (current affairs), Urix (foreign affairs), Morgennytt, Kveldsnytt (morning and evening news programme); all on NRK http://tv.nrk.no/programmer/nyheter
Large news channel: TV 2 Nyhetskanalen http://webtv.tv2.no/sumo/nyheter/
News sensation: We don't really have anything like that (or at least, I hope not)
