US Embassy visit

Hi, does anyone have advise for a visit to the American Consulate in HCMC for American Services (social security stuff)?

They have nothing on their website for appointments so I am guessing this is just walk-in and see what happens.

No appointments needed. The hours are 0830-1130 M,T,T,F. Closed on Wednesday. They have four service windows and a cashier window but normally only three are manned. Take a number as soon as you go in. Things go fairly quick. I read your other post about them not answering two emails and was kind of surprised. They usually respond back the same day. Might not get the answer you wanted but they do respond.

Yup. Also, when you get to the gate, whip out your US passport and you won't have to wait in that long line.
