The most reasons of people come to Surabaya (and greater area surround), is to work for industrial sectors. There are quite wide range of works at this sector; from labours, technician, engineers to the management level.

Business on retails also quite promising here as the distributors are needed to bring the products to the customers. Along with this, transportation, packaging, shipping and warehousing are needed to.

In other sectors, there are many local entrepreneurs growing progressively active here. One of them that still in small scale but important here is the waste management business. I met few of them, really appreciate to their works to save the world.
