Post new topic

irish1991

Hi everyone!!

I am finishing up my B.Sc in Midwifery soon and am looking at USA as an option as job scenario is non existent in Ireland right now. Would love any info on best places for midwives to work, rate of pay etc, employment opportunities etc, Would I be right in saying its H1a Visa I need? Also, my boyfriend will be looking for work as history/english teacher so any tips in this would be very welcome! Thanks in advance guys

irish1991,

Please review my other post here for tips on finding a job and sponsorship in the United States. You are correct, you will need an H1B visa. In your case I would look at major health networks, hospitals and even health insurance companies.

Your boyfriend would have difficulty finding sponsorship because the education sector is saturated in the United States at this time.
