Transportation from Nairobi to Mombasa

I would like to hire transportation from Nairobi to Mombasa. What is the best and most affordable way to do that? I will be travelling this month on the 25th.

affordable is relative to your budget. there are many car hires here in Kenya who will be willing to rent you any car you are comfortable with. this will give you control of your road trip.
