hi :)

i will arrive in denmark maby after 2 weeks , i have green card , what are the steps when you arrive to live there?

thanksssssssssssss

Jean-François

Hi,

I don't think there is anything much you will need to do apart from some basic steps:

1) Register your CPR number of the foreign office
2) Register on the job website
3) Find an accommodation (this step might be easy or really difficult depending on what kind of accommodation you are searching for) If you don't have any accommodation yet, i would recommend opting for something like couch-surfing and stay and someone place for couple of days before getting settle it's the cheapest option.
4) Knowing the basic transport system

Hope this helps. Also most of the information can be found on http://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/

hi jean ,

thank you soooo much for your help , i appreciated :)

I have other question's if you don't mind :

A. I AM SEARCHING FOR A WORK THERE , WHAT  SITES OR PROCEDURES DO YOU RECOMMEND TO FIND A JOB EASILY?

B. HOW CAN I BRING MY MOM AND SISTER   TO LIVE ME THERE ? BECAUSE MY DAD PASSED AWAY  AND I DON'T HAVE ANY BROTHERS TO TAKE CARE OF THEM WHEN I LIVE IN DENMARK , MY SISTER IS NOT MARRIED ?

MY MOM SHE IS 57 AND SISTER 27 SINGLE

WHAT SHALL I DO ?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

JJ

Hello,

For job search I think the best option for you would be http://www.jobindex.dk/cgi/user/english.cgi and when you arrive in denmark you might want to build a network of people.

Now concerning bringing your family. I know there is family reunification, but I don't think it applies to parents or sibling. I think it's just for husband or childrens. http://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/coming_t … embers.htm

And it's very strict. So I don't think family reunification is the way to go.

Hope this helps.

hi , i need help  :(
plzzzzzz send me web sites for accommodation in Denmark

Jean-François

These are couples of sites that you could start taking a look.

http://www.boligportal.dk/http://www.lejebolig.dkhttp://www.dba.dk/boliger/lejebolig/lejelejlighed/http://www.boliga.dk/lejehttp://copenhagen.da.craigslist.dk/sub/http://www.sublet.com/city_rentals/cope … entals.asphttps://www.airbnb.com/s/Copenhagen--De … ts=monthly

Beware that some are more reliable that others and some can also contains spamming. So be very sure when you are dealing with them and don't give any money before visiting or signing an official rent lease.

Also as i recommended earlier if you need some accommodation when you have freshly arrived you can use https://www.couchsurfing.org/ for couple of days while you are searching for a place to live.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Rent in CPH is quite expensive. What kind of budget do you have ?

JF

hi ,

about 5000 KR

Jean-François

Alright. You should be able to find something really decent at this budget. I don't have any other web site unfortunately. These are the major one.

I think it's quite difficult to find something without being in Denmark or having someone doing the visit for you.

It might take time so don't get discourage and continue searching and sending message to landlords.
