Is Omani Riyal 1500 with no accommodation good for a family of two

Dear Friends,

I have been offered a job with a monthly salary of Omani Riyal 1500 with no accommodation. I am married and would like to take my wife along with me to stay. Is 1500 a good salary to live with family (Husband & wife only). Kindly advice.

there are a number of posts on the forum about costs of living in Muscat. you should check those out. However from my layman's perspective i believe 1500 OMR should set you up fine
