Hi I am a British National married to an Irish man. I am considering moving to Jeddah after my husband starts his job . I have two children. Both are girls. One is 3 and the other is nearly 5. I am a primary school teacher. I will probably work as a teacher when I am there.I like socialising and swimming.

Are the 2 British schools in Jeddah.  Google for their sites, then send them your documents.  They start searching for September in January.  If you are hired from overseas, you get a lot more benefits, compared to locally hired teachers.  Benefits for overseas teachers include accommodation, overseas salary supplement, and free schooling for children.

Needless to say, you need to be a qualified teacher to work in those schools.

If you come with your husband on dependent visa then you might not be able to work, and your work will only be a full time housewife :( so as adviced earlier better to find a job when you are still in UK, it will be much more benificial for you and your family and why not in other schools as well why only British school, I am sure you will get good response from some other good schools as well. Google some top schools in Jeddah and start sending your resume and I am sure you will get good response.

Thanks a lot. I have been on to a British agency that recruits teacher to saudi. I am a qualified primary school teacher. I will be applying for jobs before I come.

Good luck and best wishes. Saudia is waiting for you as a teacher.  :)
