Any NY party worth going to will be kept on the QT, nudge nudge, wink wink, know what I mean? Say. No. More!

If anyone knows of a new year's event in Riyadh, i'd appreciate the info. :)

That's when Jeddah was a different world... women drove and there were cinemas!

From last month in Arab News, "When Jeddah was much more open"

Ah, actually this year's NY's celebrations have been advised against.

Hey Guys,

Well I don't think you can do much arround , you could consider going to Dubai or Bahrain.

We are lucky that Bahrain is just a short drive away :)

Happy New year to everyone in advace.

Cheers

Hello Victor..

I would not even think about his after reading today's article in Arab News. : http://www.arabnews.com/news/500691

It's always better to party out of the country..

All the Best !!

That's a standard warning every year.  Compounds always have parties.  Needless to say, anybody openly celebrating in public is stupid!  But inside compounds, homes, and mansions of the rich, anything goes.

if there is any new years event let us know :)

I think most of the pople are celebrating such events in compounds and if you are already living in some compound you will find this party in your compound.

The problem is that I just arrived and I am not living in a compund...and this is the problem I think...if I had compound's friends I suppose that I could be invited...but I haven't yet... :(
