Package of 1500 Oman riyal per month

Hi All,

I have been offered a package of 1500 Oman riyal per month without accomdation and transport but with medical . I am already drawing a salary of 1,08,000 India rupees per month.I have a total expereince of 13 years in IT industry as a network professional.

Is it a good package and how much would I be able to save. I am marriied but no children yet .My lifestyle is basic and I dont smoke and drink .

How much should I be demanding incase 1500 Oman riyal is less.

Hi Imran,

Medical insurance is in any case mandatory. The salary offered is commensurate with your experience.

For a couple, I would assume, a 1BHK would suffice. And given your lifestyle, you should be able to save more than 50% of your monthly income easily.

Demand as much as you wish, but I doubt if your prospective employer would agree to those demands, as they like most other employers here would be enjoying the problem of plenty as far as expatriate employees are concerned.
