How to leave a son go on

Post new topic

Adauto

The time arrives, your son is going to school and you have to support.
You know that you will miss him, but the future will be great for him.
It is time think more about his happiness and future.

Be happy.  This is how it should be.  Imagine how you would feel if he never left.

Question :  How to leave a son go on ?
Answer   :  Like our fathers left us to go on.... :/

Adauto

Yes, the life goes on and the childrens grow up.
This makes me happy but the silly daddy will always feel sorely missed.

James

Hi again Adauto,

As fathers the very best we can do is to support and educate our sons (and daughters too) as they grow up. Teach them by our example how to live, how to treat others and to always show respect if they wish to be respected themselves. At some point they will all flex their wings and want to fly. The nest will soon be empty. If we've done our job well, no matter how far off they may fly, they will always return now and then. As they get older the begin to see that everything that they are is something they saw in us and learned from us.

In Canada we have a joke:

Your children are born and some months after begin to try and talk. They start out calling us mama and dada. Then they get a little older and it's mommy and daddy. Older still and that gives way to mom and dad. In adolescence they begin to call us "the old man" and "the old lady". Then they turn 18 and move out.... then they call us COLLECT (a cobrar)!!!!

Worse still...... when they come home for visits they always bring a load of dirty laundry that needs to be washed. LOL

James, what a terrible joke. It is more like a terror history.
But I know, my friend, that you are in Brasil enough time to understand that brasilians are very friendly with other people and you can imagine how we are in Family.

In Life, we have to make compromises and crush our desires for better future and progressive prospects, so we should have to welcome such changes.
