Cost of Living in Muscat

Hello everyone, I'm Hiba...i just graduated with a BA in interior design
& I am offered an Interior design job in muscat Oman for 700 OMR and i have to pay for accommodation and transportation etc....i'll be living alone.
is it a fair offer?

I am not aware of the salaries in interior design field. But, being a fresh graduate the offfered salary looks reasonable.
Accommodation will cost you, hope your employer provides it, otherwise you need to spend 250-300OMR for a 1BHK flat or around OMR100 for a shared accommodation.

Accomodation/utilities & transport is a major concern. You can straight away exempt OMR 300 from your Salary (If you wish to stay in a 1 BHK/Studio apartment in a clean and comfortable locality). However, your monthly expense for household / food and other stuffs should be around 150 - 200 OMR. You'll still be able to save atleast OMR 150 out of the whole package.
