why overseas peoples does not interest to inter racial friendship?

Post new topic

sweatheart4u

I noticed that whenever I offer friendship with other countrys people, but why they dont accept? Because friendship does not believe in countrys border, race, color, religion. so why?

stumpy

May be that they are not interested.
You must realize that not everyone is like you and seeking friends.
We all have our own agendas.

This is very true stumpy. Sometimes many try to annoy me with their friendship invitations.  :|   Some people like to bother others with sending a friendship invitation or a flirting pm. Mostly they are new comers and even without writing to any thread first of all they try to invite members to be friends. But to be friends we must know the person first, then we must have some 'like' for that person. Otherwise why we need friends?? Why people can not get this??? :(

MiaCulpa

I would speak to friendlier people if I were you, and avoid the angry people.

sweatheart4u: If you are talking about people you meet in real life - there are some who are not interested in (or maybe even afraid of) having friends from other cultures, but thankfully they are in the minority in most places. You can easily ignore them and socialize with the more open-minded majority. Sometimes, however, you need to realize that they are a little shy, have other important things in their life or are simply not waiting for you to show up. Some dedication and being pleasant goes a long way in finding friends!
If you were talking about contact requests on this forum: As Mal wrote above, we get many such "instant friends" requests and I personally find them inappropriate to distasteful - some guy (who hadn't even posted anything meaninful on the forum, neither replied to any of my postings) recently sent me a PM asking to be "best friends forever"!!!

Hi there,  :)
If you need to get something, you must also have something to give in return.

Sometimes funny situations occur when Greek talks to Chinese or when a salesman tries to sell something to people who have no money to buy.
Correct yourself sooner than later.
Focus your time, energy and cash or success, instead of coming to you, will go away from you ...  :D

Fred

One wonders if he tries to make friends with ladies but his username puts them off.

maybe it's nothing to do with race but rather culture. i'm a white-skinned person living in a country with a lot of other white skinned people, so technically friendship wouldn't be "inter racial"

however, the cultural differences between how friendships evolve in my new homelands vs where I was raised can be quite big. If you are outgoing and friendly, people here can think you're being weird and throwing yourself at them. It's nothing to do with skin color.

Oh Mal, you are one hot lady?  :o:/:cool::par:
Your saree is guilty of men assaulting you more than you bargained for.

Now, are you saying that you are not ready for interracial friendship?  :sosad:

I would love to visit India, mostly for a food holiday.
I have a special love for Indian food and, back in Blighty, I was lucky enough to have a mate from an Indian family who knew a few very nice restaurants. The dude has a brain the size of a planet and a sense of humour that keeps you laughing through many a long conversation; we still chat on skype when possible.
The excellent Indian food is one of the things I most miss about the old country.

As for drunks, that's universal; they're always a pain.

Hi Mal, :)
My lame excuse is: I do not want to start relationships on my own thinking. (edit added: It's just too tempting ... ) I wait for Anil to comment on your new attire.  ;)

First this "sweetheart" wanted international friendships.
Next he has sent me non-stop invitations
:offtopic: Then he has decided to marry another guy-stumpy :offtopic:
(Next thing is we know your 100% straight ;)  )

beppi

I have reported this guy to the forum managers.
His marriage proposals to women and men (he also posted a classified ad for this), PMs and contact request SPAM, claims to be relocating to Russia AND China, and his claimed professions software tester, fashion designer and English teacher (given the language of his posts, I pity his students!) is just too much to be considered serious.
I hope they will stop him!

mal

Thanks a lot Beppi. He made me annoyed and today I blocked him. See his waggish name!

:D Fred,
That one line promoted you to the Humorist rank, above ViP.  :top:
There is a risk for your wife staying with the two of you, isn't it? She is in danger: if Sameer attacks Mal (and maybe other expat women here in the forum) right from the start of his forum membership, can you imagine what he will do when he is at arm's length to your wife, not you his rightful "wife" but to your wife?  :/

To be fair, mal, his nom-de-plume isn't "sweetheart", it's "SWEAT heart". I don't think that's very romantic...

John C.

Yes, overseas people are interested in interracial friendship (dating, marriage, business).  :)
Many people even adopt children of other races.

See opinions at https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=333296

Humans evolve also through mixing races.  :par:

stumpy

It was just a matter of time before someone reported him.
As interesting as it may be having the likes of sweatheart4u on this forum it gets boring answering his shallow posts, we can all see through him and we can really do without the likes of him.
Thanks for reporting him beppi.

irbazkhan

OK dear I accept ur friendship. Please proceed!

Yep with that awful, senseless face, he was introducing himself as a "sweetheart". But since very first I have decided he had not a sweet 'heart'.
Everyone never born as a liar. Until someone will grow and build bad qualities in himself, he can not be named as a liar. However, Liar can not live longer.
He was the one who has missed a very good and decent blog filled with quality people :)
