LEGO Figures needed for the weekend - wine offered!

VerticalShot

Hi everyone,

I am shooting a short stop-motion video for my upcoming crowdfunding project - I have bought everything needed (farm animals, trees, wild animals, old Maltese buses...) and the only missing things are some LEGO human figures - 15 to 30 of them...

These are too expensive to buy (about 200 eur) when you only need them for a day and you don't have kids yet - is there someone having those figures and willing to help out?

I'd pick them up and return them right to your door, along with a bottle of good wine and lots of extra toys if you have kids!

And after all, your figures would happy to be starring in a video seen by thousands, right?

You can answer to this topic, send me a message or an email/sms at the contacts published here http://verticalshot.net/118672/contact

Thanks a lot!
Vlad

just what kind of figures do you need? plain one, military one, male , female...?
i do own more then you need ;)

and don't get me wrong, i am a trust wothy person, but as you stated 30 figs cost alot, so how can we make sure that I'll get them back?

VerticalShot

Hi Duxx, great news!

As for your last question - ha, no offence taken, but I smiled as I've never been suspected of highjacking LEGO figures :) No, the price is not so high for me if I am buying something that we're actually going to use more than once. Being a public speaker and a media guy, I wouldn't risk my name + I could leave a deposit if you like, I don't mind. You will get them whole, they only may be smiling!

Hope that erases any doubt! Thanks!

Best,
Vlad

PS. Preferably they'd be mainly male ones, maybe just a couple female ones - plain, no military needed for this shoot. Thanks a lot!

Hi Vlad,

I know my children have quite a lot of these, I will have a look this evening through their toys, are there any particular ones you are looking for?

Damsel

I have some Duplo figures. I think they are a bit bigger than the usual Lego figures. Let me know if you need them.

Hi GHouston,

That's wonderful! I am not after particular ones, but the more they 'look like' normal people on the street - the better. Though as a last resort even plumber and astronauts would do! :)

Hey Damsel,

Thanks a lot, though the Dulpo ones are not so suitable as they are mostly figures of kids if memory serves me right - thanks anyway!

GHouston

no worries, will message you tonight or tomorrow morning after I have a look through and see what I have

I'm still looking for LEGO figures for the weekend (I can pick them up on Saturday and return Monday or Tuesday - straight to your door) - mainly male ones, thanks a lot!

Have a splendid weekend,
Vlad

Believe it or not, but the search is still ongoing!

So many Maltese friends tried to help out, but apparently Lego had not been very popular here in the 90s - so most people have either Playmobil or Dulpo (both types are larger than the regular Lego figures). In the shops they sell really weird Lego these days - mostly superheroes and aliens...

If anyone could help, that'd be much appreciated as time is running out - thanks a lot!
