Hi

I am doing PhD in one University of Malaysia. I have applied for my wife VDR but in the meanwhile she has plan to vsit me on social visit VISA. My question is "If during here stay we will get her VDR then can she apply for dependent pass?or can she apply for dependent pass without vdr? during her visit status in Malaysia.

I hope for quick and authenticate reply.

VDR means VISA with reference. Normally its letter from Malaysian immigration to submit in your host Malaysian consulate/embassy to get entry visa which can be possible to convert in student pass/dependent pass.

The university or its agent will handle the process with immigration and usually clearance is needed from the country of departure.follow the instructions you have been given as nowadays its not possible to get a student visa or associated passes after arriving and she risks having to fly back and wait for the correct paperwork.
