Wish you the best of luck, finding a decent apartment for 6 million in those areas will be a very hard to find.The cheapest way to find a place is through VN websites,expat sites are much dearer.

Thanks for the tip! Could you recommend/link us to any VN websites? I'd appreciate a PM if you aren't comfortable posting here :] And would foreigners be allowed to live in these places? Someone said in the other thread that there are some places where foreigners aren't allowed to live. Thanks for the info!

Agree with colin, It may be difficult to find out 2 BD Apt with 6 M VND. If you spend + 2M it may be easy.

Just take a look at this :

batdongsan.com.vn/cho-thue-can-ho-chung-cu-tp-hcm/-1/3/-1/-1

muabannhadat.com.vn/ressearch.aspx?pindex=1&tab=rv&tck=res-rent-apartment&state=59&cbMinPrice
mil = "triệu" in vietnamese.

I already chose the suitable range for paying so just follow the list and page links.

I'm looking for an apartment too but I dun have someone for sharing ( each room for each one ), and my budget is just only $100 or more a lil bit for a room in the apartment.

Thanks for the link! I PMed you :] I'm also looking for a room on the cheaper side (less than $200 sounds GREAT!) so maybe we can go apartment hunting together when I get to Vietnam! That won't be for a few more weeks though so maybe you'd be moved into a room by then....haha I appreciate that you were able to link us to that site though!
