I don't think I'm constantly stared at, but I welcome the staring. I fit in better that way. I think one time a couple years ago I was caught looking at the same person 3 times within maybe 5 minutes. Oops. :)

Best response here.. I have been traveling to Vietnam since 1999 and have now lived here for 3 years. It use to bother me as well. I just say "hello" to the on-lookers and almost immediately their stare turns into a smile and a mutual greeting.
It is little thing like this that you can turn around and make your life here so much more pleasant!
