Contraceptives in Middle East? Are they too strict or not?

Post new topic

I encountered a question in  OFWGuide.com's twitter about bringing contraceptives in any country in the MIddle East. How do Middle East countries deal with these things? I learned from another forum that it is okay not to bring any contraceptives with you if you are flying to Saudi because those are available in KSA pharmacies, although it is better if you have a  doctor's medication/advise that you need to take it regularly (hormonal, etc.) and present it just in case needed. How about rules about contraceptives in the following countries:

Bahrain
Cyprus
Egypt
Iran
Iraq
Israel
Jordan
Kuwait
Lebanon
Northern Cyprus
Oman
Palestine
Qatar
Syria
Turkey
United Arab Emirates
Yemen

I cant seem to find a great explanation/answer to my question in Google. Any expats in these locations who can provide detailed information? Thanks in advance

Maximilien
