Medical Test for Dependent

Post new topic

zahid_bahrain

Hi,

Do dependents when they arrive in Bahrain need to udergo a medical test? Unfortunately my spouse has hepatitis B, so what would be the situation in this case?

Hello there and welcome to the forum. As far as I know, everyone coming to Bahrain on a residence visa of one form or another has to undergo a medical check up. But you might want to check this with your new company's HR department as they are the ones who will be experienced in this matter.

From what I remember, my wife did not undergo a medical test when she arrived here as my dependent. But laws could have changed now.

Call HR, like brightonguy suggested and let them check it out for you.

The medical tests are dependant upon the company. If you work in Saudi they are compulsory but only your company can advise you.
