Hi

I have got a job offer in Stockholm-Sweden.
I will get my work permit and residence permit soon.

I want to know how much time will it take to get a permit for my spouse to enter,live,work with me in Sweden.

Whats the spousal permit called?
Can she open business or be self employed n freelance on same dependent visa?

I am not an EU citizen.

Hi Amit,

Nice to hear that u received offer from Sweden. Nice place calm...and simple..yet..u can have lots of fun.

About your spouse permit you can apply immediately after you recieve your permit, as i know she can even apply together with you. She will also get for the same period as your permit.

She can work , study..and freelance..but have some dought about Business...as your on a work permit.

It means it will take around 3 weeks for the spouse permit for online application.

Yes....i think will be better to bring ur spouse later..so that you can fix household things..before she arrives...
