Hello,
My name is Andra and I've been living in the Netherlands for a few months now. I've moved here from Romania with my boyfriend because he received a job offer (which of course, he accepted). I'm currently looking for an English job, I have a bachelor degree in journalism and experience as an online writer(in English too).
For now, I'm working from home, but it doesn't pay good at all and I really need to find something fast! I would also like to catch a job in social media, but I find it difficult to find something.
We're living in Utrecht and we're very sociable persons and we're trying to make new friends here. We had lots of friends in Romania and here everything is different, but we're trying to stay positive. ) We love playing board games, taking photos and discovering new places.

Hi Everybody,
I moved to Haarlem in the Netherlands 3 weeks ago after living with my Dutch Husband in Germany for the last 20 years. We are both Musical Theater Singers and we worked in Theater and on Cruise Ships. We moved to Holland because my Husband missed his own country, but also because we are searching for new career paths and a new way of life. We are completely in love with Haarlem and are currently in search of jobs. I am looking to do Gigs as a Singer, but I also have lots of Restaurant experience as a waiter. I currently study Dutch at an advanced level and am very much enjoying it! What career do I want to have "after" Showbiz? I'm not really sure, but I hope to find ideas here. My husband is training to be a Chair Masseur and is loving that. Looking forward to new friends and new input.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Katherine. I am from California, USA. I moved to the Netherlands a number of years ago with my Dutch husband. Before this we were living 6 years in China. I currently work for a large Dutch company as a Learning and Development/Intercultural Specialist. But since having my daughters (3yrs and 1.5yr) creating a healthy and natural lifestyle has become a passion of mine. I blog about it at my site: naturallyglobal.com where I give tips for finding local, organic food sources and I also examine the challenges of creating a healthy lifestyle as a parent living abroad.
I am looking forward to discovering other interesting blogs here and also connecting to other Expat.comgers.
Cheers, Katherine
