Post new topic

Hello,
I just wanted in find out about the schools in Cayman.  Do expat kids have to go to private? Are the public schools sufficient? The private schools seem a bit pricey (850 per child a month?).
Thanks    :)

Yes they do, by law. (At least, if one of the parents is employed in the private sector; I'm not sure whether the law applies to government employees.) anyway, the private schools (most of them church-run) are very good value, and few of the government ones are. "Pricey" is relative; the fees are affordable for all expats except the seriously underpaid. What sort of work will you and/or your husband be doing? And, how old are the kids?
