Any recommendations for beach resort

Post new topic

My kids want to go to the beach next weekend.  We live in Manila.  Any recommendations for beaches a few hours' drive away?  The kids, ages 6 and 3, want to build sand castles and fly a kite on the beach.  So, the shore should not be rocky.

These are some of the places we've tried in the past.

We've tried Lian Batangas . . . Sand was white but was coarse.  Really uncomfortable if you're walking barefoot.  And it will stick in between your feet and flip flops if your feet are wet. We are not going back there again.

Nasugbu, Batangas . . . beach has fine white sand, but once you get in the water, you'll be stepping on pebbles and small pieces of coral.  Could actually cause a cut on your feet.  It looks like the fine sand was "imported" from somewhere else and overlaid on a pebbly beach.

San Fabian, Pangasinan . .  . beach has fine gray sand.  Just right for building sand castles.  The breeze was nice.  And the kids really liked being wading in the water and splashed by the waves.  We liked this beach but we'd also like to try something new.

Any suggestions with regards to beaches?

Hi, you can try the Island beaches at Zambales. You can search for a google for a list of beaches at Zambales. The beaches there are good compare to Batangas. You can also try to google for Morong Bataan. On the other hand, the south part, try to google for Puting Buhangin at Quezon. Hope this helps.
