Hi All

I am Derek
I am hoping to relocate to Canada I am a Zimbabwean with over 20 years experience in the Electrical Trade. I am currently in Botswana working for a mining company. I would greatly appreciate a Job Offer so as to apply for an open work permit. . Please help much appreciated.

Hello Darlington,

Welcome!

1. For cost of living information try www.numbeo.com and type in the name of the city you wish information for.

2. If the job is full-time, and you're lucky enough to find one, anyone can work full-time. Descrimination based on race is a crime in Canada.

3. Five Star hotels are as good as they get, the salaries will depend on the job. The Minimum Wage in Canada is $10.25 per hour and usually people earn more than that.

4. For visa information visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada government website, you can even fill out the online information and begin the visa process there.
