Can anyone recommend a quality washing machine. The only name i recognize is Panasonic and i didnt even realized they made them. What is considered a brand name?

I see a lot of ppl using Sanyo and have heard they will last quite awhile.
But like you with Panasonic, I never knew they made washers

I got mine at Nguyen Kim. It's an LG. It was one of the more expensive ones, and I think you can get a very good one for much less, but I liked everything it had to offer and it's very close to the one I had back home. It was close to 40 million after all was said and done, but I've had it for a very long time now and never had any problems. They have a lot of name brands at Nguyen Kim from budget to high end.

I was able to buy about 8 years ago a Whirlpool washer and dryer it's a western product that was manufactured in Thailand. They were both extremely expensive but well worth the cost, still going strong 8 years later. I bought them in Saigon and had them delivered. Sorry I can't remember the name of the store.
