Will the May EU Elections bring a big Shake-Up?

I agree, in fact, I think it is quite possible that you'll see the election of not only "EU skeptics" as you put it, but also many political figures who actively opposed and resisted the formation of the European Union and the Eurozone.

They are going to have the popular support of their fellow countrymen who blame the creation of the EU for growing unemployment and the economic downturn in most of the EU countries. Citizens who may even want to see the EU and Eurozone disbanded and to go back to their own independent nations and national currency.

Also you're going to see some pressure toward disbanding the EU from citizens of the richer and more powerful EU countries who don't think they should have to CARRY the other countries and support their debts and failing economies.

I don't think that the growing rumors of the ultimate collapse of the EU and the Euro are completely without foundation. Like the old saying goes... "Where there's smoke, there's fire!"

I think it will be the answer on what they did in the last years.

Or should I say what they didn't did???

Many people indeed don't want the whole European Union anymore: to much involvement in the national politics, to much savings  are gone and lost in the poorer countries and the blame the euro that everything is to expensive.

I cant blame them...
