Hi Friend.

Hope everyone is doing gr8 over here.
Recently one of my friend came to me and informed that his ANB Bank account was freezed due to non-updating of Iqama number.

The Iqama got expired somewhere in sept, 2013. now when we returned the Bank with renewed Iqama to update Iqama information the bank official informed us that our current balance is nil. When I showed him receipt of banks that it was holding more than 1000SAR they clearly denied and said that you haven't been using it for more than 3 months due to which your account was deactivated and now your current balance will be nil.

Please guide guys. Whom should he speak and where should he approach... Can anyone guide us please
Regards,
Mohammed

I suggest pay another visit to the bank and meet the branch manager with proof and if its not solved, report it immediately.
My account at NCB, holding more than 10K, was deactivated in 2010 but the staff there was cooperative and handover all the amount without any hassle.

Hi Ethesham,

Thanks for your reply. have been at bank for almost 2 hours but they have been wandering around and finally informed that its closed and they can't help. Don't they have any grievance cell contact number which i can report and request for there immediate attention.

Thanks.

1- Locate the online complaint form somewhere on the bank website. Fill it and submit.
2- Wait for some time (a few days) and then report the case to SAMA along with the above mentioned online complaint screenshot.
