Gluten free?

Post new topic

My family is considering moving to Puerto Rico and am leaning to Mayaguez.  Are there gluten free options in grocery stores or restaurants? I did see some GF pizza at the Econo when we visited, but no GF flour or breads.  I think there is a natural food store there? Would that have anything for us?

THANKS!

Go to the farmers market in Rincon in the Plaza on Sundays and talk talk to the vendors.. You will find out all you need to know about GF and any other healthy foods, including organic. Several of them make fresh GF foods and offer them   for sale at the market.

Thanks Gregg.  I sent my hubby on a mission to find gluten free foods and there was a HUGE selection at one of the health food stores in Mayaguez.  Pizza dough, cookies, baking flour, mixes, frozen bread, crackers, everything we buy back in Wisconsin.  Score!
