Yes Anil I too have noticed that there is no posting from John C. Missing his sharp comments without being prejudiced .... and true topics are moving at a very low pace ... most striking factor is his good flair of writing. I love his postings ... best wishes to him .. wherever he is ...

Heyyy all the members are same here so who asked you to call him 'Sir'??  May be he thinks it is not important to reply to our threads as he is a VIP member,  Or he may be busy with his statistics/prediction jobs of expat.blog. 
And its a long time ago he has stopped comment on my posts- I dont know why

I do not miss him and his blatantly arrogant posts - most of the time he was just telling how great he is and that everybody with differing views or lifestyle is wrong.

That is what I think too.

Who me...............i always missed the people who writes some good things and if they are not there means if i can't see their post i always think of them and ask myself what happened to them , why they are not replying.............

Yes, he was banned and it is now lifted,
...but maybe he is offended.

There's a German saying for this:
Er spielt die beleidigte Leberwurst.
I.e.  He is acting like an insulted liver sausage.
German can be very strange for beginners. 

I don't know anything about the ban, but am glad it was lifted. I think that his, often very pointed posts and barbs add spice to the blog. Could he tone it down a bit? Yes, sure he could, but you should see some of the other members here and what they post! John is just a big pussy cat compared to some of the ones I've seen.

I really think there is a great difference in being arrogant and having strong opinions. I've had lots of dealings online with John and personally I don't find him arrogant. Opinionated, yes without a doubt, but who of us ISN'T? Even I have my moments and I've gotten myself into troubles here a few times. Not to a point where I've ever been banned, but certainly I've had several postings deleted and have made a few people on various forums quite angry with me.

So there you have it my friends, my public confession... I'm NOT the saint that many of you may think I am!    But, I try to be most of the time.

He was banned, I believe for the third time, for insulting a long term member and local 'expert'. His previous bans were for the same thing but different members.
The ban was lifted but I have yet to see a post from that member.

A few of his posts were informative but the majority were not much to do with expat life, more about financial matters of unimportant sorts and promotion of his trading site.
I have to be honest, I don't miss him.

He is not this side of the forums but he is giving his comments on all other forums all over the world.

Howcome it is possible because his number of posts in not increasing......so i don't think so he is writing anything in any of the forums of this site..............

I do not miss him a bit.   He happened to be in my contact list but without informing me he gone from it and that is unfair.

As for German and English grumpies - yes, I am one of those.

A trouble maker, commonly known in internet circles as, 'a troll', tries to gain as much attention as possible, then works to cause as much trouble as he possibly can whilst trying to avoid being seen as the source of it.
Trolls have a habit of disguising their IP address and opening "sockpuppet" accounts to back them up if things get hot.
Take a close look at his threads and a few of the replies, mostly the ones from members that have hardly/not posted on any thread other than his.

Yes sometime it happens because when we argue for our own opinion inplace of thinking others view too...........and you all are experts in this site.........so you people know better than me.............

Nothing wrong with having an opinion - a lot wrong with insulting people, in some sort of attempt to make them look small.

Thats true if we insult to others through our comments .............i agree with you.......
