Random decision to run for mountains or ocean...wanna come?

hi -

I have been working in UP or some time and the heat has driven me to take a spontaneous trip - I am thinking of Diu, andaman/Nicoibar or some tekking in the mountains. Anyone else in a position to take such a trip? I find that traveling is always easier if one is not alone (especially as a woman). I am flexible with scheduling/activities and am just really wanting some down time in nature.

Contact me if you have a hankering for a last minute adventure!!!

I am from Delhi actually. Manali would be a good spot for you if you

Hi there Katie,

I'm actually not in Delhi yet, but hope to be there in the next month on so. I was just there earlier this week on a 6 day trip for my company considering an expat assignment there. I am an outdoors person who loves to do nature oriented stuff, hiking, camping, canoeing, fishing etc etc. I am also an avid cyclist and hope to bring my bikes with me to India when i come down there.
I am looking to make a few friends when I get here to hang out on the weekends and do stuff.

Hi!

Kumaon, in the Himalayan foothills is a great escape form the Delhi heat. The temprature is 30-50% lower and you get to rediscover nature. A great place for you to stay when there is Villa Loshegani villaloshegani.com.

Hi guys!

Did something get planned on this?! There are actually lot of options like Rishikesh (rafting), Dharmshala, Garwahl, Shimla or even Leh.

A good idea could be rafting in Rishikesh. There are just few days left before the season ends. Wat Say?

Anyhow, please do keep this post updated, I am ready for any place..just say the word.
