Getting fair quotes in Ghana

Post new topic

Hello, I am a Mexican studying in Germany. In 2009 I went to Ghana to collect data for my master thesis, which consists of the design of a supply chain for a sustainable sanitation system. This year I am evaluating the feasibility of carrying out that project and I will travel to Ghana in July to try to collect the most reliable data and build the economic model of the project.
As an "Obroni", I know how difficult is to get reliable data regarding costs of many things there in Ghana, so my question is: Does anybody know a person, institution or consultancy company that could help me to collect data in a reliable manner? Maybe you know about an institution that helps foreigners to establish business in Ghana. For those of you dealing with suppliers there, how do you ensure that you get fair quotes? Any help will be really appreciated.

I do understand your problem. I'll pass your question on to my Ghanaian partner. Gayle.
