Degree needed to teach?

Sunkiss68

Hi guys,

I'm moving to Busan in August and want to teach English. I don't have a degree but have a TEFL, 2 years experience teaching in China and 6 months experience teaching in Brazil.

I am a native speaker from the UK. Do you think havkng no degree will be an issue?

Any information or experiences you can share would be great!

Thanks,

Jody

You need a bachelor's degree to teach in Korea PERIOD. That is the legal requirement in Korea. Just a TEFL certificate is not enough. Plus the ESL market in Korea is in decline.
