Tribute to our parents..!!

Post new topic

mal

"Treat your parents with loving care, you will only know their value when you see their empty chair."

Your parents may live in another country... so many miles away from you..
or your parents may in heaven...  never be back to meet you in this life
But there may be always something in your heart to utter them...
I am sure... they will hear your truly heart!!

I wanted to open this thread for you to reveal your heartiest feelings to your Mom and Dad...
how you miss them... how you love them... or... how you feel sorry for the mistakes you did to them

"My loving Mom & Dad,
I want to hug you both as your little daughter and tell you -
I love you!! I miss you!!! I wanted to tell it everyday but couldn't any-day...
Forgive me when I did something to hurt you- when you were living...
The day when my tone was so high to disapprove you... I didn't mean it Mom.
Did it hurt you when I said, "Please dont disturb me.. Daddy"??
Please try to be happy in the heaven... where you are...and take care of yourself...!!! "
-Daughter

One line but it means a lot. :)

There is one thing that many people experience to some degree after their parents have passed away and that is regret.
Regret for some of the things we have said or done that afterward we realise would have been better not said or done.
And also regret for the things that were to a degree omitted but which should have been done like showing them our love.
I was abroad when my father died suddenly and that came as a much greater shock than when my mother died many years after my father and after a longer illness. A sudden death is harder to bear for those who are left behind, but naturally kinder for the individual.
