LIVING AND LOVING

Post new topic

abasu

Living in one country, and loving in other, is it possible?

stumpy

Yes. Very much so.
I have lived and worked in many different countries over the years and whilst doing so my family, whom I love very much, live in Laos.

beppi

National borders are mere lines drawn in the sand by humans. Why should they have an impact on matters of the heart of other humans???

aryavrat

I agree with you Beppi............
Yes it is only possible for human being.............they can live somewhere and love another ........... :D
Stumpy i think OP is asking about countries and as a fact everybody loves his or her native land.........

Regards,
Anil

Really???
It is a mere quirk of coincidence that I was born in one place and not another. I don't see how that could make that one place special or superior to others!
I think that any open-minded person can see and value the diversity of this world and realize that ALL places have their good and bad sides - and thus that only narrow-minded people can be nationalistic. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but being nationalist is what I understand as loving one's homeland. I don't love mine more than others I lived in.)

aryavrat

Beppi i love mine as well as others because for me borders are made by human beings........I believe in Earthians rather than a nationalist of one country.........Also accept "Viswa Bandhutatva" means world brotherhood............

Regards,
Anil

How about missing the very loving touch?

aryavrat

First of all you please clear us.......... One side is country and other side is loved one's,you are trying tosay this or both the place is country...................means living in one country and loving other country.............

El_Jost

I apparently misunderstood the question.  :/

mokhhm

In Austria too it looks like.
(See Eurovision Song Contest for explanation as well as a nicely trimmed beard.)

Omg.. he/she is very beautiful lady/guy!!!

El_Jost

Up to now I've not worked out which it is.  ;)
Hoping for an explanation on this site soon.

aryavrat

For me the picture is of a male with a wig of female.............. :D

aryavrat

hey sorry guys the picture is of a female= Tom Neuwirth...................

beppi

The singer, Conchita Wurst, is an imaginary figure invented (and played) by the Austrian gay activist Tom Neuwirth, who (in a rather imaginative way, I must say) wants to show how absurd discrimination is of others just because they are different.
Of course the attire is also a way to attract attention, since the music would be forgettable without it ...
In any case, she (or he?) won this year's Eurovision song contest - and got ample publicity (including initiatives to ban the contest in Belorussia and Russia, two of the continent's most backward places, where being gay is still illegal!).

El_Jost

Some English speakers might be amused by the fact that the German word "Wurst" means sausage:joking:

beppi

"Wurst" literally means sausage, but in colloquial slang it also means "it doesn't matter".

aryavrat

And in fact it really doesn't matter that whether this picture is of He or She.......but the phrase has been rightly used it doesn't matter..................
