Hi Marijke,

I opened a business 6 months ago here in Marseille. It's an online business as well as a concept store. I'll be glad to share experiences with you. Where are you from ?

Regards

My partner and I are planning to move to France in the middle of next year to investigate setting up a business doing road cycle tours with a gourmet twist. We are thinking of the area north of the Pyrenees. We will move to France to reaearch the area and the feasibility of the business. We like to hear from peolpe who have gone through the motion of setting up a limited company in France.

Hello,

You can check the "Agence Pour la Création d'Entreprises" (Business Startup Agency) website :
http://www.apce.com/pid371/apce.html

And then check on the left menu "to set up a business".

I think you should defenitely check with the French consulate close to your place because you will need a long term visa if you plan to live in France in order to take care of your business.

Good luck !
