Family Medical Checks

Post new topic

Stakan

Sorry if this has been answered before (or even multiple times). I couldn't find it now though I think I've read about it before.

My family got their family visas some time ago and then they their CPRs a few weeks ago. There was no mention of a medical check. When I got mine I was given the medical appointment at that time. It was like 5 weeks later, but they gave me the appointment notice that day.

We are confused if my family will have medical exams or not. We would be happy if they don't have to do it. However we are afraid we will at some point get a notice that we have to be there like the next day, which would be inconvenient. Or worse - we're afraid we will get notice that they missed their appointments even though we've never been give one!

So do families (wife and children) require medical checks too?
FYI - we are here on US passports.

Dear Stakan,

you do not need a medical check for family.

this is the statement from the lmra website
* Please note: family members coming to Bahrain on a dependent visa do not need to undergo this health check.
