IT contracting rates in Kuala Lampur

Hi, I would like to know what are the IT contracting rates per hour for subjet matter expert in Kuala Lampur?

The project would be around 6 months with possibility of extension and I need to quote a rate incl expenses and one without expenses (hotel, car rent etc.)

Anyone with advice or experience?

You will need a work permit (employment pass) to reside and work in Malaysia if you are a foreigner. I think the hourly terms are aimed more at local companies and people. You could base the hourly pay on a relevant monthly salary. The salary levels can be found here:

Some the international agencies, such as UNDP have that type of contract, but do not sponsor immigration processing.
