Showkat ahmad

also I have only 3 yrs of experience and its my first time to move abroad...is this enough for this experience?

m2ks

well, 6500.. is every less...don't forget you have to give out accommodation .... I not sure abt bedspace.. may be that will be best option for your.. and don't forget you have to use tax most of the time, as buses are not available everywhere.
as the Civil Engineer pay is very less. I believe..

Offer too bad to be considered.

Agreed with all.  It should be minimum 6,500 plus adequate transportation and housing allowances.  Because otherwise, your effective salary is 4,500.

If they can provide you the add on's, then you could easily save 5000-5500. But it seems this offer is too bad, also you got 3 years of expeirnce, sometimes people as freshmen would get 5K-6K for such projects. consider you are not a labour or a drive and negotiate as an engineer. Once you accept it then you have to suffer or be happy no matter what. as then 8K-9K, so you could save and send some worthy amount back home.

It's too bad

The metro project is very promising with high potential. Regardless of what country you come from, consider that minimum wage is approximately 4 to 5 grand. As well as, saudi's can find jobs at a fast food restaurant with a salary of 5 grand and more lots of benefits. 6,500 saudi riyals for a job title as a Civil engineer in such a project (the metro i mean) is low, specially without accommodation nor transportation. However, lots of other employees find your offer reasonable. Seek your needs. I hope this have helped. Regards

Hi Showkat,

The offer is too low for an engineer - Do not accept.
